It is crazy insane when "I know how to eat" for weight loss and management but am stuck in a vicious emotional cycle. I can honestly say that my life needs to be in better order and some of it will come easier then but I can't change my major stressors probably till we move to the US so To Be Continued I guess.

I can't give enough praise to joining a knitting group. The comradery of a group of women together crafting is such an amazing thing and is the high point of my week. I always walk away from a knitting get together feeling healed and able to better tackle life. I also can't sing enough praises for homemade dishclothes/wash clothes it seem to learn so much from doing different patterns I can email you my favourite patterns if you like.Yankee in Englandhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12801047649293188238noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-269061867980878107.post-74073290228234246102014-08-11T13:13:06.413-07:002014-08-11T13:13:06.413-07:00Here are two books that have really helped me in t...Here are two books that have really helped me in the last year (not that you asked):
Intuitive Eating by Evelyn Tribole
The Emotional Eater's Repair Manual by Julie Simon

They have changed my life and my relationship with food and other aspects of myself. :)

With that said, I think little challenges can be helpful. I have been working on no/less sugar and am finding it helps tremendously with my weaknesses.

Are you still working with Weight Watchers? I love career changes! And seem to be looking for something new every few years as the kids grow everything is different and new again and my needs are always shifting to accommodate.

I have a few unfinished knitting projects that I would love to pick up again...I need to take a class to hone my skills though. I get stuck and then I just sit there with my hole-y garment and then I put it away and don't pick it up again for months/years.

I like the format of this post. May I borrow it?

Jacqueline Searshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04091598444684936482noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-269061867980878107.post-91186128513067715432014-08-09T23:57:13.609-07:002014-08-09T23:57:13.609-07:00Jacqueline- I am not sure about doing a whole 30. ...Jacqueline- I am not sure about doing a whole 30. The book really resonates with me and I am definitely stuck in some really bad food issues but I also don't know if we/I am in a place right now that would allow me to successfully complete a whole 30. I did 15 days a while back after just reading a few bits online. The more I read of the book the more it all clicks together but I don't know?

As for job change it would just be something in the service industry. My current job while brilliant in lots of way require a lot of behind the scenes paper work and bits and while it use to work well to do when the kids were napping or after bedtime I am now getting resentful of how it eats away at my free time especially as it does not really pay much above minimum wage. I would really like something that I could walk away from at the end of my shift and be done and not have a bunch of stuff in my house and car.

Knitting- I have been working on a sweater for Jasper for a while now and mainly do that when I am at my knitting groups. In between working on that I have made a blanket for Joss, a scarf for a friends daughter, and about a million dishcloths/washcloths. I LOVE wiping up dirty faces with a washcloth I have made. I also have a bunch of cotton yarn from crochet projects so it means that gets used up and they are quick projects I can pick up and put down so if say the kids are happy for 5 minutes I can can do a couple rows and then put it down without having to worry about where I am on a pattern.
Yankee in Englandhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12801047649293188238noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-269061867980878107.post-48955477335713220262014-08-09T15:53:27.111-07:002014-08-09T15:53:27.111-07:00Oh so many goodies here!
